MARIO KNOLL
Mario began to be involved in the dog scene on 1980, breeding Dobermans e training dogs for guard and obedience.
On 1982 began to successfully breed Lhasa Apsos, founding the Excalibur Quest Kennels fully active until the present day.
Together with his wife Ana Beatriz Knoll (also FCI all rounder judge) they began to breed Afghan Hounds together and Pugs more recently for about 8 years. They bred and own many Ch. And BIS dogs around the world.
During 1993 got the FCI judge title for the breed Lhasa Apso turning finally an all breed judge in 1999. Acted many times judging in Brazil, other South America countries , Canada , Finland, Portugal and Luxemburg.
Actually, they follow breeding Afghans and Lhasas as well, and 4 years ago began with German Spitz.
In 2006,2007 and 2008 he own number 01 Lhasa in Brazil, number 1 Spitz in Argentine and Uruguay. This Spitz was Top Ten All Breed last year in both countries.
Acts also very actively close to the Kennel Clubs especially for the technical aspects from breed standards, breeding objectives, structure and movement, also giving lectures for breeders and judges about the retro mentioned themes.
Considering Mario’s educational background and business, he is Mechanical Engineer with a Marketing degree and works as Sales Manager, supplying parts to the Automotive and Machinery Industries.
